Aitkin’s St James Catholic Church youth recently helped seed a four acre pollinator habitat and outdoor stations of the cross project on their church grounds. The project will provide enhanced habitat for bees, butterflies, birds and other wildlife, and a special place of meditation on Jesus’ crucifixion and sacrifice because of God’s great love for all. A huge thank you to all that have collaborated to make this project happen, including St James parishioners, the Totus Tuus team, Pheasants Forever, MN DNR, and Aitkin NRCS and SWCD. You are invited to join St. James on Sunday, August 27 for an outdoor concert and country bazaar, to see how the project has progressed, enjoy music, food and fellowship, and raise funds for St. James youth activities.
